Kayla Compson

Kayla Compson is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Double Bass Performance in 2023. She currently teaches middle school orchestra in Howard County and previously taught elementary school orchestra.
In addition to her public school teaching experience, Kayla maintains a private bass studio in Columbia, Maryland, where she works with students of varying ages and skill levels. She is passionate about helping students build strong musical foundations, develop confidence, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for music.
